Pecan Pie

Pecan Pie
3 eggs
2/3 C sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 C melted butter
1 C corn syrup (I use dark)
1 1/2 C pecan halves

1 pie crust

Heat the oven to 375*. Beat everything together except pecans. Place pecans on the bottom of an unbaked pie crust (I used 9 in. pan). Pour mixture on top of pecans. Cover the crust with foil. Bake 45-55 min. or until it's not real jiggly. Uncover the crust and bake about 5-10 min. more until golden.

Looks very yummy! We tried chocolate pecan pie in PA Amish country. It had a layer of chocolate on the bottom. SOOO good!

That is a very good idea. I think I will try that at Thanksgiving this year.
